Literary Magazine

Literary Magazine produces an online publication of student poems, short stories, essays, and art works. Club members review and select the compositions that are submitted, as well as develop the visual tone of that year’s online magazine. Club members also engage in creative writing exercises and fundraisers.

Newspaper

The Grizzly Gazette will be in full production for school year 2010-2011. Our staff will work throughout first semester to learn journalism style and to use production tools and facilities, culminating in continued production of the student newsletter. We plan to produce our first full newspaper during second semester.

We would love to work with area businesses to advertise local services! Please contact us in August for production schedules.

Yearbook

The second annual Summit yearbook is in production for the 2010-2011 school year. With an emphasis on coverage, this year's book is sure to include a majority of the student body. The yearbook staff employs principles from real world journalism, including writing style, layout production, editing, photography, and much more. The Summit program is in the process of growing and has great expectations for the future of Mountain View's largest publication. To support the program, contact us for opportunities to recognize a student, a team, or a club or to advertise your business. Our intention is to start a strong tradition of a yearbook for students, by students, which the community looks forward to reading every year.
